~I've been studying Roman art hostory in Art History and we went over the Colosium and the gladitorial games. After watching some OSR I got some idea about the Crog Imperium.
The Crog Imperium shares some similarities with the Roman Empire, being that they are formed from different tribes, having a gatherum of sorts, and a strong military. So I got this idea about the Crogs' homeplanet of Kramm, and that they probably have "tests of strength" which probably translate out to gladiatorial games. So I don't know if this will be in any future fanfics or not, but somehow Molly gets captured by the Crogs to be a participant in these tests of strength or Aikka or Earth and Nourasia would be destroyed. Something like that. Because she is a gladiator, the armor is mostly for show and style rather than actual function. The sheild and the spear (as well as the sword in it's sheath) are her main defense. The spikes were partially inspired by the spikes on the Crog armor seen in the prologue to Oban and the armor is based off of the Crog armor that we've seen so far. The fanfic will probably never see the light of day unless I happen to put this in the series after Lost in Nourasia, which will have a sequal. It will probably go into a trilogy.
